Analise Marie Flannery was born June 13th, 1987 in Philidelphia, Pennsylvania. She was two months premature and spent the first week of her life in an incubator. She was so small and fragile that her mother called her her little china doll and the nickname seemed to stick, at least with everyone but Analise. The Flanney clan was a tough one. From her older brother Hobie who face danger to serve his country to his sister Jenn who always seemed to have a take over the world mentality, the Flannery children were strong. Being the china doll meant that her mother was always babying her, treating her like glass every time she scraped her knee or banged her head, and that everyone else in the family always looked at her to fall apart first. As a result, she forced herself to toughen up. She permentantly glued on a brave face, no matter what problems came her way. She couldn't be a china doll if no one ever knew when she was breaking. When her brother went off to join the army, she was angry at him for leaving and scared that she would never see him again, but she just wished him the best and said goodbye.

Her strong facade eased some as she entered high school. She started getting involved in drama. All she ever wanted to do was act, having put on little shows of her own for her parents and siblings and whoever else would watch when she was younger, and she was looking forward to finally perform on a real stage for a real crowd. She wanted to be a star and no one denied that she had the face for it. The only problem was that being a lowly freshman, she was stuck in the chorus as most of the leading roles went to juniors and seniors. She decided that if she couldn't get a part because of her talent and not because of her age, she didn't want any part. Then one day, she met a young man who had a interesting proposition for her. He was an aspiring director who also thought that it wasn't fair that the juniors and seniors got the lead roles. With the approval of the school board, he started producing his own plays for underclassmen to get their chance in the sun. The first play cast Analise in the lead as Katrina Van Tassel in the director's play adaptation of Sleepy Hollow. From the moment she took the stage, she knew she was doing exactly what she was meant to do with her life. She continued on the stage in original productions until she reached her junior year and moved on to bigger and better things, or at least as far as high school acting goes.

She graduated high school and went on to study acting at Penn State. There, she was reunited with the young man who helped her realize her dream back in the fall of her freshman year. He had gone from producing original plays to studying film in the hopes of becoming a big shot hollywood director. The two were introduced officially at a party and after an amusing and slightly awkward conversation, the two agreed to go out on a date. But before they got the chance, Analise received an unwelcome visitor in the shape of her older brother. After that, Analise grew cold and distant towards everyone, her strong facade taking over once again, but the young man was persistant. He refused to stop until she realized that he wasn't going anywhere and eventually, she did. She knew that she could be weak and he wouldn't make her feel bad about it. She knew she could fall apart because he would be there to put her together again. The two finished college together, moving into a one-bedroom apartment of thier own four months into thier relationship. Jay kept working on his own material, casting her as the heroine in his horror movies so she wouldn't die. But as much as Analise tried to get him to put his work out there and maybe get some funding, he just wasn't ready for the world to see his films. And the bills needed to be paid. Jay made money filming weddings on the side and Analise got work performing in plays at a local children's playhouse. It wasn't thier dream jobs but it was enough for the moment.

In early 2009, Jay finally made an honest woman out of Analise. Rather than going through the stress of planning the wedding and putting the weight on thier relationship, they decided to elope to Las Vegas. It was the perfect little ceremony in the hotel chapel and the perfect little honeymoon underneath the fake venetian sky. When they returned home, Jayson's dad surprised the two with thier very own starter house. They moved out of thier tiny one bedroom and into thier new home. Analise pushed Jay into making one of the rooms his office so that he could make his own movies and maybe come up with the next mega blockbuster. While Jay set to work on his masterpiece, Analise settled in and made the house thier own. She couldn't wait to have a family and start the rest of her life with her true love. Luckily for her, she wouldn't have to wait that long. Only a couple months into thier marriaged, Analise found out that she was pregnant with thier first child. When the dream became a reality, Analise found herself wondering if she could be a good mother. She was still so young and still had so much to learn, but Jay assured her that she would be a wonderful mother and together, they would be wonderful parents.

But shortly after the news came, Analise was hospitalized and for a brief moment, the couple thought thier dream was over. After three days under observation, the doctor determined that the baby was fine, but its mother wasn't so lucky. The doctor diagnosed Analise with a rare form of anemia and while it would not affect the baby, it would make Analise's already difficult pregnancy all the harder. Complications ensued continuously through Analise's pregnancy, but she gave birth to a healthy baby girl, Maxine Olivia Vanderford on October 5th, 2009. The same year, Jayson's epic paranormal trilogy finally got the funding and there was only one person the young man had in mind to play the kind yet just witch leader, Sarah. It was hard balancing career and family, but filiming in thier hometown of Pittsburgh made it a lot easier. The movie gained a lot of hype and was soon named the most anticipated movie of 2010. The Dark Within released July 9th, 2010 and it smashed box office records in it's opening weekend. Critics and fans raved about it's powerful acting and intricate story. They couldn't wait for the next installment. However, the first film would be the last film for Analise. Filming had taken a great toll on Analise's health and she collapsed shortly after the film wrapped. It was a tough decision, but Analise decided to leave the movie business and focus on being a full-time mother. Fans were baffled and saddened by the loss while tabloids made up thier own crazy theories about why she left the series, but she would never tell the truth, not even to her own family.
